Woods Street Youth Art Prize 2024
Showcasing and celebrating artwork by young people aged 14 to 25 from Melbourne’s west.
This year, there were an overwhelming number of submissions which has culminated in the largest Woods Street Youth Art Prize ever, displaying the work of 58 young artists and over 60 artworks.
The biennial exhibition celebrates the special place Woods Street Arts Space holds in our community, as well as the creativity and spirit of the young people who live, work and/or study in Hobsons Bay.

Congratulations to the 2024 Woods Street Art Prize Award winners:

Artist Encouragement Award over the age of 20 ($200) – Maya Yoon Kirk for ‘Shroud’

Artist Encouragement Award under the age of 20 ($200) – Harriet for ‘Fish to be’

The Hobsons Bay Artist Award ($500) – Naomi Thorpe for ‘Hitting the Water – Splash Echoes’
