- the renewal of registration for the Food Act 1984 is due annually on 30 September
- the renewal of registration for the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 is due annually on 31 December
Operating a food or public health business without a valid registration is an offence under the Food Act 1984 or Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.
Businesses including food, hair, beauty and skin penetration premises are now able to renew and pay their annual renewal of registration online using the eHealth portal.
An email and/or text will notify you when the portal will be opened for renewal of registration. If you have not already done so, please provide the Public Health Unit with your preferred/current business email address.
The eHealth portal will allow you to change contact detail information and inform us of any modification to your business activities.
Changes to the proprietor details or trading name cannot to be made on the portal. You will need to contact the Public Health Unit, as a transfer of registration may apply.
