Forward Motion
Exhibition
Saturday 8 October to Thursday 1 December 2022
Forward Motion was an exhibition presented by Creative City Hobsons Bay and Wyndham City Arts & Culture and consisted of artists from the western regions of Melbourne who participate in Wunder Gym’s Forward Motion arts program.
Participants explored the idea of Forward Motion, the concept of collectives and networks, and reflected on collective behaviour, social movements, artificial intelligence and bio-communities under the mentorship of Science Gallery Head of Curation, Tilly Boleyn, and Curatorial Assistant and Artist, Arie Glorie.
The Forward Motion arts program and exhibitions aligns with Science Gallery Melbourne’s exhibition Swarm, and features as part of the 2022 Melbourne Fringe Festival, Future Hindsight, 6 to 23 October 2023.
