“Steel Life is an invitation to contemplation.

It grew out of nature; inspired by the environment and the artist’s observations of plant and insect life.

 A metal vine growing out of the ground and entwining with a tree aims to create both juxtaposition and reflection between nature and the man-made. The composition of materials and scale draws attention to the power and strength of both the materials and the subject matter.

Year by year as the plants grow and thrive, they represent the continuation of natural life within the urban environment."  Matt McCuminsky
