Open House Melbourne

Open House Melbourne is an annual festival that celebrates architecture and the city.

The festival presents a program of building openings, tours, talks and events that teach us about our city. It provides insight into how the city works and demonstrates the significant role that design has to play in addressing the critical issues that are shaping its form, future and identity.

As a proud precinct partner, each year we open the doors to some of Hobsons Bay's iconic spaces across the final weekend in July. This year we open our doors on Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 July, most events are free. Check out our full program below.

We invite you to rediscover your city — to seek out new places and to reconnect with old favourites.

Open House Melbourne is an independent not-for-profit organisation that fosters public appreciation for architecture and public engagement in conversations about the future of our cities.
