Paint the Gardens event

Council has a rich history of supporting arts, cultural, community, sporting, tourism and special interest events through the Make It Happen grants program. 

In 2024, more than 20 events received support, including the Custom Classic Car and Bike Show, Diwali Festival, Monster Mayhem in the Meadows, Hobsons Bay Wetlands Centre, Williamstown Literary Festival, Newport Folk Festival, the Jamaican Music and Food Festival, and Out on the Weekend.

The next Make it Happen Grant round will open in early 2025.
