From family-friendly community festivals to flagship events like Midsumma, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and the National Trust Heritage Festival, there is something for everyone to enjoy in Hobsons Bay.

We deliver year-round festivals and events program by:

supporting community organisations and groups to present their own events, through provision of funding or permit approval
partnering with major organisations to deliver flagship festivals and events
producing of a range of community events including seasonal activities and celebrations

The inaugural Queer PHOTO was presented in 2024, turning Melbourne’s west into a gallery of accessible and highly visible visual artworks from LGBTIQA+ artists.
