Midsumma Westside

Midsumma Westside delivers local activities and events across Melbourne’s west and celebrates our local LGBTIQA+ communities.

The program is a partnership between Hobsons Bay, Brimbank, Maribyrnong, Moonee Valley and Wyndham councils, and 2025 marks our 15th year as part of this collaboration. We first became involved through the successful GoWest initiative.  

Midsumma Westside is presented as part of Midsumma Festival, Australia's premier LGBTIQA+ arts and cultural festival, made for and by communities who live with shared experiences around diverse gender and sexuality. It runs in January and February each year.
