L2P program
Drive towards your Ps with L2P
L2P is a comprehensive state-wide, community-based program that recruits volunteers to provide supervised driving experience to learner drivers under 21 years of age who find it difficult to meet the mandated 120 hours of driving practice due to family, economic or other circumstances.
Wynbay L2P Program
The Wynbay L2P Program is a combined community effort and partnership between Laverton Community Integrated Services, Wyndham and Hobsons Bay Councils, VicRoads, Bendigo Bank Community Grants Program and Kia Motors Hoppers Crossing; with partners providing in-kind and financial assistance.
Young people are matched with fully licensed volunteer mentors, and use a sponsored vehicle to gain supervised driving experience.
To join the Wynbay L2P program participants must:
- be aged between 16-21 years
- hold a current learner permit
- be unable to access a car or supervising driver
- commit to obtaining a driver licence
- live in the Wyndham or Hobsons Bay area
