Boost your employability and career skills! Join our FREE workshops designed to enhance your employability and career development. Whether you need help with resume writing, interview skills, goal-setting, or financial management, we’ve got you covered.

Workshop 1 – Wednesday 25 September, 1pm-4.30pm

  • Resumes & applying for work  

  • Interviews & skills identification 

Workshop 2 – Wednesday 2 October, 1pm-4.30pm  

  • Goal setting & habits  

  • Career design & values 

  • Financial wellbeing training   

*Participants who attend both workshops will receive a certificate of participation from Hobsons Bay Youth Services.

Who: If you’re aged 14–25 and have any connection to Hobsons Bay (whether you live, work, or study here), these tailor-made workshops are for you.  

Cost: Sessions are free however registrations are essential.  

Where: Laverton Community Hub, Recreation Room, 95-105 Railway Avenue, Laverton (a 5-minute walk from Laverton Railway Station) 

Additional info: Bring along your current resume/ CV, pen and paper. Afternoon snack provided.
