Toby's Story

"I was looking for volunteer opportunities and came across this Young Leaders group. I was apprehensive at first and didn’t know what to expect, but it’s now the highlight of my fortnight.

"I really enjoy working with young people across a range of different ages. There’s a great balance of a casual vibe and getting stuff done. By joining Young Leaders, I’ve found it easier to make connections and raise issues in the community and find solutions.

"Try it out. See if you like it and vibe with the rest of us. The youth workers are really nice and it’s a great program to be in."
