We're providing indigenous plants to Hobsons Bay residents to plant in their home gardens.
The Native Plant Giveaway is supported through the Habitat Gardens program that encourages residents to use indigenous plants in their private gardens to further establish ecosystem connectivity with conservation reserves.
During giveaway sessions residents have the opportunity to collect a box of mixed native plants. Each box contains wildflowers and grasses ideal for habitat gardens. When planting indigenous species, you provide habitat and food for urban wildlife, enhance biodiversity, improve ecosystems and connect our green corridors.

There is a limit of one box per household. Priority will be given to residents who have NOT previously participated in a Habitat Gardens or Native Plant Giveaway program.
