Cherry Lake Buffer Mound & Wetlands

Drake Boulevard Altona or Cherry Lake Shared Trail, Altona 3018

The Cherry Lake Buffer Mound and Wetlands have been revegetated with locally indigenous plants and are located to the northwest of Cherry Lake. There is an elevated walking track that provides wonderful views of Cherry Lake and the industrial areas of Hobsons Bay. The walking track can be accessed via Drake Boulevard or at the junction near the Cherry Creek bridge.
