Beat-Making Workshop with Nikodimos

As part of the upcoming Woods Street Youth Art Prize program, music producer and artist Nikodimos will be running an interactive beating-making workshop for 14 to 25-year-olds at Woods Street Arts Space in Laverton.

Nikodimos will talk about his creative process from both the perspectives of both artist and producer. He'll also conduct a sound hunt, which allows attendees to create a song from samples that will be recorded by your smartphones during the session.

All participants will need to bring along is a smartphone with audio recording capabilities.

Nikodimos is from Naarm’s west and creates technicolored musical experiences for people of all ages. He intends to spread positivity through both practical and spiritual activations within music, and to inspire people of all ages to engage with music in a way that’s approachable and creatively fulfilling.
