In this workshop, learn simple tools, principles and industry tips to help you develop a robust event plan.
Led by experienced Events Consultant Emily O'Brien, this workshop will help you lay the foundations for your next event.
Topics include:
• Understanding what an event plan is and why it's important
• What to include when creating an event plan
• Venue selection and consideration of dates
• Who is the audience and how to promote your event
• Event delivery procedures
• Budget management / cash flow / income streams
• Ticketing
• Permits / Approvals – Event, POPE, other stakeholders
• Templates to use to develop an event plan for your event
This workshop is part of a three-part series on event management, presented by Council and facilitated by Emily O'Brien of Elucidate.
This series of free workshops is designed to support our community to deliver their own events, and build skills and capacity in creating and producing safe and successful events.
