Story Scribblers is a weekly after school program that provides primary school children with time and space to focus on reading, writing and storytelling, while having fun discovering our awesome collection at the library.

Here children will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage and extend their passion for reading and storytelling

  • Expand their knowledge of the library’s fabulous collection

  • Have fun exploring the elements and mechanics of stories

This program is perfect for primary-aged children who find books, reading, or literacy somewhat challenging. Together, each week, we will lead hands-on activities that encourage literacy through story telling.

Bookings not required.

For primary aged children aged 5 - 12 years.

Please note that a responsible parent / carer should accompany children while they are attending our children’s programs.

Parents / carers are responsible for a child’s welfare as well as monitoring and regulating their behaviour.
