The Giants - Movie screening and plant giveaway
Celebrate World Environment Day and head down to Altona Library on Wednesday 5 June at 6pm for our evening movie The Giants.
This film is a mesmerising and awe-inspiring journey into the world of environmentalist Bob Brown and his connection with the forest.
The movie weaves together the magic of nature with cutting-edge scientific discoveries about trees. Through Brown's passionate activism and profound experiences, it ignites a powerful call to reimagine our connection with these majestic giants, sparking a thrilling new era of tree appreciation and conservation.
Tea, coffee and popcorn will be provided on the day! We hope to see you there.

FREE indigenous plant giveaway
To encourage the expansion of our tree canopy in Hobsons Bay, the Urban Forest team will be on site to give away free plants to take home and add to your garden.
Indigenous plants will be available for attendees of the screening as well.
BYO bottle for a free eco-friendly product refill
Come early with your own empty bottle to claim a free refill of an eco-friendly personal or household cleaning product!
