Zonta Sewing Bee (Breast Care Cushions)

Breast Care Cushions provide support and comfort to people who have undergone breast surgery with their rehabilitation. The cushion can be tucked under the arm to relieve pressure when sleeping or that of a seatbelt and it doubles as a neck pillow when travelling.

We are looking for some extra hands to help support this great project. We need people who can:

• Basic machine sew
• Hand sew
• Assist with the cutting of material and stuffing process

This session takes place from 10am to 2pm, however we encourage people to drop-in and out as they need. Light refreshments and guidance will be provided by Zonta volunteers.

Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. One of their projects has been the making and distribution of Breast Care cushions.
