Council elections 2024

The next Hobsons Bay City Council elections will be held on Saturday, 26 October 2024. At this year’s election, Hobsons Bay will change from having seven councillors representing three wards to seven single-councillor wards. The election will be conducted through postal vote only. Council elections are regulated by the Local Government Act 2020 and the Local Government (Electoral) Regulations 2020.

The management of the election process is undertaken by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) on behalf of Hobsons Bay City Council.
