AW Langshaw Reserve - Floodlighting Upgrade

In the 2024-25 financial year, the Victorian Government has granted funding through the West Gate Neighborhood Fund to help subsidies floodlighting upgrades at AW Langshaw Reserve.

The Langshaw Reserve Pavilion is home to the Newport Football Club and the Altona Roosters Cricket Club, and the project will include the removal of end of life and non-compliant floodlighting from the reserve and replace with new poles, LEDs and electrical connections to reach compliance with current standards.

Construction is expected to begin in January 2025 and finish by April 2025. The playing field and the pavilion will remain in operation during this time, however portions of the site will be fenced off for construction. There may be short disruptions to access and parking within the reserve during the period of works.
