Altona Meadows Library and Learning Centre

The installation of the Centres of Excellence commenced in January 2023 with the Altona Meadows Library and Learning Centre the first to undergo this transformation.

The STEAM Centre at Altona Meadows Library officially opened on Saturday 21 October, 2023.

Altona North Community Library

Altona North Community Library is the second library to become a specialist Centre of Excellence with a new Games Discovery Centre featuring board games and video games opening soon. The library opened to the public on Wednesday 12 March 2025 with newly refurbished areas including Council + meeting pod, children's area, kitchenette and courtyard.
