DEVICE COMPATIBILITY DETAILS 

The microscope is compatible with Android 6.0 and iOS 9.0 and later. 

 

Before you start

  • Install app: Download the free Max-see app from Google Play or App store.

  • Close any other open apps on your device. 

  • Fully charge the microscope  

CHARGING INFORMATION 

  • Charging time: 1.5 hours 

  • Continuous use time: 1.5 hours 

 

How to set up and use

Power On: Long press the On-Off button to turn on the microscope. A blue flashing light will display.

  • Wi-Fi mode. Set the microscope mode to Wi-Fi.

  • Connect to the microscopes built-in Wi-Fi. Do not connect to your home Wi-Fi. On your phone or tablet, under ‘settings’, then ‘Wi-Fi” in the list of Wi-Fi networks detected by your device connect to Max-See-4e14 (no password needed).

  • Remove the protective plastic dust cap microscope and put it in a safe place.

  • Open the Max-see app on your phone. Select Allow to let the app find and connect to the microscope.  

Focusing on your object or specimen 

  • Twist the focus wheel to bring the object into focus while experimenting moving the microscope closer and further away from the object you are viewing until you have a focused view on your device.  

  • If needed, rotate the light adjusting wheel up or down to adjust the brightness of the LED light.

  • On your phone or tablet screen select the Resolution button and select 1920x1080 for a clearer view. 

  • Select the Camera or Video options on your phone to record.

FAQ

Can this be attached to a camera? 

Sorry, it can't. 

Is the device waterproof and can it be used in water? 

No, our microscope has no waterproof function. You should avoid water entering the microscope, otherwise it may cause damage to the device. 

Can I connect to the Internet while using the microscope on my device?  

  You can use your devices mobile data but not another Wi-Fi network at the same time as you are connected to network Max-see-4e14 

The video or image quality is choppy or deteriorating 

Please recharge the microscope. 

Wi-Fi is connected, but there is no picture 

Please turn off other open applications on the phone.
