Dog off-leash locations
There are several parks and reserves in Hobsons Bay where dogs are allowed off-leash.

Other than the locations below, dogs must be on-leash in all other areas. Your pet must be under effective voice control at all times. On the spot penalties apply for dogs off leash outside the designated areas and for failing to collect dog litter.

Dogs on beaches
Dogs are restricted from these beaches from 10am to 9.30pm from 1 November to 30 April every year, seven days a week. At all other times, dogs must be on a leash.
- Williamstown Beach - between the Life Saving Club and Sebastian Beach Grill & Bar.
- Altona Beach - between Romawi and Mount Streets
