Roundabouts renewal program

Our roundabouts renewal program will incorporate new trees into existing roundabouts to increase canopy cover and improve the overall urban environment, and enhance the streetscape. As part of this initiative, we will also be renewing garden beds, adding mulch, and repairing any damaged signage to ensure our roundabouts remain both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The chosen tree species for this program is the Platanus orientalis 'Digitata' (cut-leaf plane tree). These trees are renowned for their excellent shade provision and resilience in challenging conditions. Platanus orientalis 'Digitata' is low maintenance, highly drought-tolerant, and well-suited to urban environments, making it an ideal choice for enhancing our community spaces.
