It’s hard to believe this majestic spot is not only in the middle of a bustling suburb but was also once a bluestone quarry. Once you are inside the park it feels like you could be deep in bushland. There is lovely wildlife and trails, tracks and bridges with the most photogenic spot being the steppingstone bridge in the centre of the lake. These huge stones create a lovely visual trail to anchor a photo taken from either side.

Just outside this bush oasis is Mason Street or cross over to Hall Street for great cafes and restaurants amongst other gems.
