Bay Trail closure at Kororoit Creek.

The pedestrian and bike riding path is closed at Kororoit Creek between Altona Road and Racecourse Road.

The path will be closed from November 2024 until June 2025 to allow for the reconstruction of the ford bridge. This essential upgrade will ensure a safer, more reliable connection for all users.

Council have explored other detour options, however due to the complexities of working in a waterway with a restricted construction footprint, there is no safe detour available around this closure. We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete this critical project.
