Hobsons Bay 360 #102: Business Connections: Networking and Co-Working Opportunities
Hobsons Bay is home to a vibrant business community, with 8,532 local enterprises spanning 19 diverse industries. From local cafes serving barista-crafted coffee to professional services and industrial estates, our businesses form the heart of our community.
Council is dedicated to nurturing this thriving business environment through various networking events. Last financial year, we hosted 12 events attended by more than 500 participants. These events, including business breakfasts and monthly networking sessions, offer opportunities to promote businesses, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections.
For an additional way to engage with fellow business owners, we welcome local businesses to join our closed Facebook group, Hobsons Bay Business Network. It's a great platform for connecting with other local entrepreneurs and staying updated on business happenings in our area.
If you prefer face-to-face interactions, consider co-working at the Co-lab within the Altona Civic Centre. This free-to-use space is perfect for collaborating with other business professionals, holding meetings, or simply working in a productive environment. The Co-lab is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
