National Simultaneous Story Time 2023

Join us (along with millions of others around the nation!) for this very special event, as we celebrate National Simultaneous Story Time 2023!

This year’s chosen book, The Speedy Sloth, is sure to capture the hearts of both children and adults alike.

Come along and enjoy a morning of storytelling, music and activities that will inspire a love of reading in your little ones.

The morning activities include free:

• Face Painting
• Craft Activity - Create a Sloth Habitat
• Morning Tea
• Sing-a-long with your favorite storytellers including Rocking Russell, Julie and the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club from 10am.
• The Speedy Sloth by Rebecca Young and illustrated by Heath McKenzie will be read at 11am

*Please note that our regular Toddler and Baby Time sessions at Seabrook Community Centre will not run on this day. Instead, please come along and join in the fun, at this extra special event!
